As she guides clients toward achieving their fitness goals, exercise guru Lauren Zummo also immerses them in her own fitness interests. Zummo is the owner of Prana Pilates & Yoga, where she draws from years of experience in movement analysis and a graduate degree in exercise physiology to train groups of no more than six students at a time. She helps them hone core strength in Pilates reformer classes, tone lean muscle in cardio barre classes, and learn poses and breathing techniques in her basic yoga classes.
Prana is the dream and proud Pilates & Yoga Zen Den creation of Fitness Guru and Exercise Physiologist Lauren Zummo MA. She is Pilates, Yoga & Fitness Master trainer in all realms including treating clients suffering with chronic back problems, knee and shoulder injuries and various muscular imbalances. Clients travel to work with this inspiring & talented gal who takes pride in keeping her sessions highly challenging for the level of the student and FUN at the same time. Sports Teams, Doctors, Beginners, Body Builders, Classical Pilates Students, Instructors and Children all love her casual yet unpretentious style of high end precise training sessions that are completely tailored entirely to each individual’s anatomy and specific needs. Lauren holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University as well as a BA in Sports Medicine from Catawba College. Certified in all Equipment through Pilates on Fifth and IM=X, Yoga through the Rahini Institute and YogaFit, Children’s Yoga & a Doula through DONA. Her amazing reputation is because she honestly loves her clients and the ART of training and is the epitome of a Movement Specialist who provides results for every client without further injury. If asked she will always say she LOVES her job but is proudest of being Mama to four beautiful Yoginis Lola, Dylan, Livi & Lily :).

Robin Cantone

Robin Cantone holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from Towson State University. In addition to more than 18 years of teaching experience she holds several certifications including: IM=X Pilates, AAAI/ISMA Yoga, Pre/Post Natal, AFAA Group Fitness, Personal Training, and Urban Rebounding. She believes that everyone has the ability to benefit from Pilates and Yoga from the average person to the finely tuned athlete, all it takes is a willingness to learn.

Polestar Pilates Trainer — Holistic Health Counselor

Hi my name is Linda and I am an instructor at Prana Pilates and Yoga. I have a BA Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I am also Polestar trained and educated in Pilates. My passion for optimal health has led me to also become an Holistic Nutrition and Health Counselor. My belief is that the mind and body work together to achieve balance and harmony which in return results in better overall health. Pilates is a wonderful form of physical exercise that incorporates strength, flexibility, and core movements, that when performed correctly engages both the mind and body for optimal results.

Marlene has always been interested in health and healing. After received a BS in Biology and Physical Science, she completed a program at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX. A devoted yoga and Pilates follower, her love of the practice has led her to become an instructor to help others gain strength, flexibility and overall better health!

Dianne Jiranek

Instructor

Dianne Jiranek began her career in fitness over 12 years ago as a personal trainer. Dianne has a Fitness Specialist degree and has holds many certifications in fitness including, Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), Silver Sneakers, People with Arthritis can Exercise (PACE) , and TRX. Dianne studied Stott Pilates at Pilates on Fifth and continued her pilates education with Balanced Body Pilates. She holds certifications in mat, reformer and barre with Balanced Body. She is currently teaching mat and reformer classes while she completes her Comprehensive Teacher Training through Polestar Pilates.
When Dianne is not sharing her passion for fitness she enjoys doing pilates,yoga, running, cycling and spending time with her family and friends.

Adrienne Peterson

Pilates Instructor

Our newest instructor, Adrienne Peterson, comes to Prana Pilates with an awesome fitness resume. However her fitness credentials are not even half as impressive as her story. Adrienne was an avid runner and a martial arts expert until she was stricken with a debilitating spine disease. Five years and five operations later, Adrienne has been on a journey to restore her health. After practicing Pilates for 2 years, an opportunity presented itself and she decided to further her passion in Pilates and take the Polestar Comprehensive Training program. Through the grace of God and Pilates, Adrienne has restored her health and is hoping to see you in one of her classes.
